How To: Make Nuuma's Chai

Hi!

Are you a fan of chai tea? Do you love the rich, aromatic flavors of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger? If so, you're in for a treat! Nuuma's ready-made Sticky Chai mix is the perfect solution for those who want to enjoy a delicious cup of chai without the hassle of measuring out individual spices. In this blog post, we'll guide you through the simple steps to make the perfect sticky chai using Nuuma's ready-made mix.

What is Sticky Chai?

Before we dive into the recipe, let's talk about what exactly sticky chai is. Sticky chai is a unique blend of tea and spices that originated in India. It's called "sticky" because it's made with honey instead of sugar, giving it a rich and sticky texture. This combination of flavors creates a truly delightful and indulgent drink that will warm your soul.

However, what sets Nuuma apart is that we've picked the best quality ingredients out there in order to craft our chai blends. We've imported Ceylon's highest grade of Cinnamon sticks, using the best quality of Ceylon black tea and Australian honey. We've also used fresh ingredients. Typically, in homemade chais, people would use fresh ginger. In order for us to pack our chai, we hand-grated fresh ginger and dried them in the oven, mixed them in our chai blends.

Without further ado, let's start off on how to brew our chai blend!

What You Need:

For one serving:

  • 1 tablespoon of Nuuma's Chai blend
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 cup of milk

Step 1: Boil Some Water

The first step in making the perfect sticky chai is to boil 1/2 cup of water. You can use a kettle or a saucepan - whatever you have on hand. Just make sure the water is nice and hot.

Step 2: Add Nuuma's Sticky Chai Blend

Once the water is boiling, it's time to add 1 tablespoon of Nuuma's sticky chai blend. This blend is carefully crafted with a mix of black tea and aromatic spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger. It's the perfect balance of flavors that will transport you to a cozy café in India.

Step 3: Let it Steep

After adding the sticky chai blend, let it steep for 2-3 minutes. This will allow all the flavors to infuse into the water, creating a strong and aromatic base for your sticky chai.

Step 4: Add Milk and Boil

Once the sticky chai blend has steeped, it's time to add 1 cup of milk. You can use any type of milk you prefer - cow's milk, almond milk, soy milk - the choice is yours. Let the mixture boil for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

Step 5: Strain and Enjoy

After the milk has boiled, switch off the heat and strain the sticky chai into your favorite mug. This will remove any tea leaves or spices, leaving you with a smooth and velvety cup of goodness. Take a moment to inhale the heavenly aroma before taking your first sip.

Now that you have your perfect cup of sticky chai, it's time to sit back, relax, and enjoy. The combination of the warm spices, creamy milk, and sweet honey will tantalize your taste buds and warm your soul. It's the perfect drink to start your day or to unwind after a long day of work.

So, why settle for ordinary tea when you can have an extraordinary cup of sticky chai? Try Nuuma's ready-made sticky chai mix today and elevate your tea-drinking experience to a whole new level. Trust us, once you've had a taste of this sticky goodness, you'll never go back to plain old tea again.
